Any violation of sections 8-1, 8-3, 8-4, 8-6, or 8-10 shall constitute a misdemeanor as provided by G.S. 14-4 and shall subject the violator to a fine of five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisonment
for not more than thirty (30) days.
