§ 21-34. Damaging meters.

It shall be unlawful for any person to deface, damage, tamper with, or to open without lawful authority, any parking meter. It shall be unlawful to deposit in any parking meter, any slug, device or substitute for a Town of Chapel Hill token or a lawful coin of the United States of America. Any violation of this section 21-34 of this article shall be punishable as a misdemeanor.
